Six Flags Fiesta Texas Unveils New Werewolf Gorge Coaster for 2027 Opening

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is preparing to introduce a groundbreaking new attraction called Werewolf Gorge, set to open in 2027. This family-friendly launch coaster will hold the distinction of being the longest of its kind globally, featuring an impressive 4,120-foot track length and reaching speeds up to 45 mph. The ride includes four separate launches and offers riders thirty-two distinct airtime moments throughout the experience. The narrative behind the attraction revolves around a fictional Silver Strike Mining Company that experienced strange supernatural events in the late nineteenth century, including missing miners and wolf sightings. Visitors will tour an abandoned mine site with exhibits on cryptids before boarding old vehicles for the journey, guided by a character named Jasper Bunyan. The coaster has a height requirement of thirty-nine inches and was manufactured by Vekoma, suggesting similarities to their other family coasters like Big Bear Mountain at Dollywood. While no official opening date has been confirmed yet, the park is excited about this major addition to its lineup.
