Six Ravens at Disney Springs Offers Dark Medieval Charm with Mixed Food Results

The new Six Ravens restaurant has opened at Disney Springs with a captivating dark medieval theme and creative menu featuring stuffed hand pies called Coffyns. Created by the team behind Gideon’s Bakehouse, the location boasts impressive atmosphere including a towering raven crest and storybook-style menu design. During the soft opening visit, media guests noted strong herbal aromas outside and experienced longer wait times due to kitchen operational issues. The Imperial Idol Coffyn contained mildly spicy chicken with coconut curry but felt unusual rather than harmonious in flavor combination. The Forager’s Find stood out as the best option with roasted sweet potatoes, black bean corn salsa, and bright Tropic of Mango Aioli that worked well together. A chocolate chip cookie tart dessert had enjoyable crust and raspberry jam but an odd tasting fudge filling prevented it from being fully appreciated. While the concept is genuinely creative with imaginative menu items, the food did not quite match the impressive setting during this initial visit. The restaurant team hopes to refine operations and recipes as they settle into full operation after this soft opening period.
