Six Ravens, a new dining location at Disney Springs and sibling to Gideon’s Bakehouse, will begin its soft opening on Monday, August 3rd. The establishment focuses on savory menu items, notably hand pies called Coffyns made from house-made yeast rolls. These offerings feature fillings created in collaboration with several Central Florida chefs and local restaurants including Red Panda Noodle, Pizza Bruno, and Smoke & Donuts. Founder Steve Lewis described the concept as being about paying it forward, with a primarily savory menu though one dessert is currently available. The solo dessert, The Tart’s Tempest, is a Gideon’s chocolate chip tart with chocolate fudge and raspberry jam. The venue is described as smaller and darker than Gideon’s Bakehouse, with a concise menu centered on Coffyns, potatoes, beer, and one dessert option.
