Ten Items Frequently Confiscated at Disney World Security Checkpoints

Visitors to Walt Disney World are advised to review a list of ten items commonly flagged by security before packing. Wagons are generally prohibited except for those with approved medical or disability accommodations. Luggage exceeding 24 inches in length, 15 inches in width, or 18 inches in height is not permitted on transportation or inside the parks. Loose ice and dry ice are banned, though ice packs are acceptable. Alcohol cannot be brought through security, and open containers are not allowed when exiting a park. Drones are strictly forbidden at all times. Toy weapons resembling guns are prohibited, although toy scabbards from Pirates of the Caribbean may be carried. Real weapons such as guns, knives, pepper spray, and handcuffs are not allowed. Camping chairs or benches cannot be brought into the parks. Whistles, horns, megaphones, and bullhorns are also prohibited to maintain order and prevent disturbances. Attempting to bring these items may result in being asked to return them to a vehicle or face a park ban and law enforcement involvement.
