Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs Undergo Major Refurbishment Through September 2026

The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort are currently undergoing a significant hard goods refurbishment that began in March 2026 and is expected to continue through mid-September of the same year. This long-awaited project addresses years of delays caused by supply chain issues during the pandemic, with construction permits filed for contractor Land-Ron Inc. The renovation will affect various resort areas including tennis courts, basketball courts, and specific dining locations like the Turf Club Lounge and Bar & Grill which will operate on modified schedules or remain closed temporarily. With sixty individual units in total, Disney plans to renovate them in phases rather than all at once, potentially extending the project timeline beyond the initial announcement. The Treehouse Villas are unique properties that debuted in 1975 as part of a historic wetlands preservation effort and offer a rustic luxury experience distinct from other Disney resorts. These accommodations feature three bedrooms with capacity for up to nine guests, though they may be more suitable for parties of six to seven people due to sleeping arrangements. While some guests find the remote location and transportation challenges difficult, others appreciate the peaceful retreat atmosphere away from typical theme park crowds. The review highlights both positive aspects like high-quality finishes and serene surroundings alongside practical considerations such as the necessity of having a personal vehicle for convenient access to resort amenities.
