Universal Kids Resort Food Review Minions Mac & Cheese and More Tasty Treats

The Universal Kids Resort opened its doors on July 1st, offering visitors a chance to explore new lands and sample unique food options. The review highlights several menu items tried at various locations within the resort, starting with the Bello Bay Mac & Cheese Cone at Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club. This dish features creamy macaroni and cheese in a garlic bread cone topped with a Minion tart, priced at $14.99, though it is noted as needing more flavor despite being kid-friendly. At Puss in Boots Del Mar, the Big Jack Horner’s Wrap was sampled, consisting of seasoned ground beef, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, and crispy tots for $12.99. This wrap is compared favorably to a homemade version of Taco Bell’s Crunch Wrap due to its fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. Sweet treats include Churritos and Chocolate served with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce for $6.99, which are described as basic but tasty theme park snacks. The Puss in Bootsicle drink combines Fanta orange, vanilla cream syrup, cold foam, and orange sprinkles for $7.99, creating a dessert-like experience that is both sweet and tart. At Goofy Goober’s in SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, the Triple Gooberberry Sunrise was ordered but arrived with unexpected ingredients like brownies and M&Ms instead of the listed vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Despite this discrepancy, the treat remains delicious in its fun container, though it melts quickly and requires wet wipes. The overall experience at Universal Kids Resort is described as enjoyable, with a wide variety of food options to try.
