Universal Studios is expanding its reach with a new Universal Kids Resort slated for Frisco, Texas, ahead of an official opening date. Drone footage shows a nearly complete park, featuring rides like Mr. DNA’s Double Helix, Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster, and SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom attractions. The park also includes a pink TrollsFest Express roller‑coaster and a giant Gabby’s Dollhouse mural on the hotel roof. Landscaping and final details remain under construction, but the majority of attractions are ready. The surrounding area is experiencing significant real‑estate growth, with new residential developments and favorable tax rates attracting buyers. “The park is opening next month,” realtor Harman Cheema said, though no specific date has yet been set. The resort is expected to open in May 2026, positioning the park as a major draw for families in the Frisco region.
