Universal Kids Resort Opens with Themed Dining Experiences Across Seven Lands

Universal Kids Resort officially opened to the public on July 1st, offering a unique theme park experience focused on young children and their families. The resort features seven themed lands, each containing various dining options and snack spots for visitors to enjoy. Food reviewers sampled several menu items across different locations, including Jurassic World Canteen, Goofy Goober’s in Bikini Bottom, Swamp Snacks in Shrek’s Swamp, Minions vs. Minions Bello Bay Club, Puss in Boots Del Mar, and additional offerings. Specific dishes tried included the Triple Gooberberry Sunrise ice cream at Goofy Goober’s, which melted quickly due to heat but was enjoyed for its flavor. The Shrekzel pretzel served with regular yellow cheese differed from the Orlando location’s green cheese version. Minion-themed treats like the Mac and Cheese Cone were described as fresh and filling, resembling similar offerings from Epic Universe. Puss in Boots Del Mar offered a wrap called Big Jack Horner’s Wrap containing seasoned ground beef, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, corn tostada, tomatoes, and lettuce wrapped in a flour tortilla. Additional items included Churritos with chocolate sauce and the Puss in Bootsicle drink made from Fanta Orange soda with vanilla cream syrup and orange sprinkles. Reviewers noted that while some items were enjoyable, others had issues like soggy textures or melting quickly in warm weather conditions. The media preview was attended by Universal Food Blog writers who paid full price for their travel and dining experiences to ensure unbiased reviews.
