Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the return of its popular Mardi Gras celebration for the spring of 2027. The event, titled International Flavors of Carnaval, will run from February 6 through March 27 at Universal Studios Florida. Visitors can enjoy elaborate parade floats inspired by New Orleans traditions along with opportunities to catch colorful beads during the festivities. Food will be a major component of the celebration featuring sweet, savory and spicy dishes inspired by various international destinations. Live concerts are scheduled to take place on select nights at the Music Plaza Stage though the specific lineup has not yet been announced. The Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience will also return allowing guests to enjoy a three course meal before participating in bead tossing activities. Admission to the event is included with regular theme park tickets or valid annual passes subject to applicable blockout dates.
