The new Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood has recently begun operations, attracting thrill-seeking visitors. However, some nearby residents have expressed concern about excessive noise levels emanating from the attraction. While the ride itself is designed to produce loud screams, neighbors report that both rider shouts and track noise are disruptive to their community. In response to these complaints, Universal Studios Hollywood plans to install additional sound barriers near the coaster location. The park has already implemented several noise reduction measures including extensive sound walls and track modifications with pea gravel. A community meeting is scheduled soon for residents to receive direct updates from Universal management about the situation.
