Construction at Walt Disney World’s BoardWalk is set to continue through 2026 and into 2027, with refurbishment work scheduled for select areas of the resort. The Luna Park Pool and related amenities will close temporarily in early 2027 for routine maintenance, while the Disney Skyliner faces a brief closure later that year. The Village Green courtyard will also be shut down from August to September 2026 for unspecified improvements, likely involving turf replacement or utility upgrades. New additions include Hurly-Burly, a mixed-use venue replacing Jellyrolls that offers daytime family activities and evening live music, and Basin on the BoardWalk, a retail shop featuring handcrafted bath products. A new quick-service restaurant is expected to open at the former Big River Grille location sometime in 2027. Despite ongoing construction, most resort amenities remain accessible to guests during refurbishment periods.
