Walt Disney World recently expanded its Airport Luggage Transfer service to three additional Moderate Resorts, including Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter as well as Coronado Springs with Gran Destino Tower. This expansion marks the most significant growth since the program began in late March 2025 and now covers all Value and Moderate Resorts at Orlando International Airport. The service previously added inbound capabilities a year ago and started including more airlines beyond Southwest Airlines to streamline baggage handling for domestic travelers. Guests can now skip baggage claim when arriving and have their luggage delivered directly to their resort room upon registration. Experts predict further expansion to Deluxe Resorts like the Crescent Lake properties in the near future as the infrastructure continues to scale-up gradually.
