Construction has begun surrounding the former Westward Ho location in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom, marking another step in the park’s transformation. The area is being prepared for the future Piston Peak National Park attraction, with plans to eventually demolish the historic building. Nearby spaces including previous popcorn stand locations are also being incorporated into the construction zone. Disney intends to extend the work area toward the riverwalk while maintaining a temporary pedestrian pathway for guest access and parade viewing. Snack options have been relocated, with churro carts and popcorn stands moved to new positions near Frontier Trading Post and other nearby spots. Guests can still access the Frontierland boardwalk but may need to search more extensively for familiar treats during this period of change.
