Daveigh Chase, the beloved voice of Lilo in Disney’s animated film Lilo and Stitch, has died at the age of 35. The Hollywood Reporter reports that she was battling meningitis which developed into a blood infection and ultimately sepsis. Before her passing, Chase received an Annie Award for her voice acting performance in 2002. She also starred as Samara Morgan in the horror film The Ring that same year, earning an MTV Movie Award for best villain. Her extensive career included appearances in Donnie Darko, Big Love, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ER, Mercy, and Beethoven’s 5th. Her final acting role was in the video game Let It Die released in 2016. The entertainment community mourns her loss and sends condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
