Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii is preparing to host a national television production from January 23 through January 28, 2027. Although Disney has not officially named the show, strong indicators suggest it will be American Idol. Filming crews plan to use a portion of Ko Olina Beach near the resort during that week. Guests can still access most beach areas and amenities, though they may encounter production activity during daytime hours. The upcoming season marks American Idol’s 25th overall and its tenth on ABC, with Ryan Seacrest returning as host alongside judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. This potential return follows last season’s introduction of the Ohana Round at the same Hawaiian location.
