Disney Theatrical Group and Lightstorm Entertainment collaborate to create AVATAR Guardians of Eywa, an immersive multi-sensory walkthrough experience featuring live acrobatics. This licensed touring production is not a permanent Disney park attraction but a separate event scheduled for world premiere on May 17, 2027 in Niagara Falls, Canada. Guests will explore interactive rainforest and coastal reef environments with Pandoran flora and fauna before attending the live performance finale celebrating themes of connection and life. The experience is developed by IMMEX, produced by EMM Williams Productions, and designed by Moment Factory, with support from the Government of Canada. While this touring show runs through early September 2027 in Niagara Falls, it does not affect the ongoing Avatar project development at Disney California Adventure.
