Concrete Poured for Cars Ridge Run Rally at Piston Peak

Construction on Piston Peak National Park land at Disney World is progressing with concrete recently poured for the Cars Ridge Run Rally attraction. Fresh aerial imagery shows the newly cast concrete settling behind the retaining wall near the former Liberty Square Riverboat Landing site. Imagineers are carefully managing the vertical elevations to ensure the rugged mountainous theme remains hidden from neighboring areas. Steel reinforcement structures are ready inside a large trench, serviced by a newly erected tower crane on-site. When fully opened, Cars Ridge Run Rally will serve as the anchor attraction for this frontier-inspired expansion. Guests can also look forward to Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along as part of the land’s lineup. Piston Peak will draw inspiration from the American West and iconic national parks, featuring towering forests, rushing waterways, natural geysers, and sweeping mountain vistas.
