New decades including the 1960s and 1980s will be added to the show’s timeline alongside existing eras. A historic Sherman Brothers song will continue to play during the updated experience for guests. A Walt Disney animatronic figure inspired by a classic special will make its debut in the first scene at this location. Construction continues across Magic Kingdom with Piston Peak and Villains Land projects progressing rapidly while Big Thunder Mountain recently reopened after refurbishment. Visitors are encouraged to experience the current version before the scheduled closure date arrives.
