Construction Milestone Reached for New Magic Kingdom Ferryboat

Disney has added a significant milestone to the construction of its fourth Magic Kingdom ferryboat, the Meg Gilbert Crofton, by completing the installation of its top deck. Aerial imagery reveals the third level is now in place, though two square openings remain unfinished for future staircase connections between decks. Assembly work began in May after the vessel arrived at Walt Disney World in sections earlier this year, with full completion projected within approximately one year. Upon finishing, including painting and final preparations, the new ferry will join the existing fleet of three vessels serving guests across Seven Seas Lagoon. The project highlights ongoing developments in Magic Kingdom transportation infrastructure, as Disney simultaneously expands ferry docks and prepares for future park expansions like Piston Peak National Park.
