Daveigh Chase Passes Away at 35 After Meningitis Battle

Daveigh Chase, the talented actress known for voicing Lilo in Disney’s animated film Lilo and Stitch, has passed away at the age of 35. Her boyfriend Roy Hernandez revealed that she had been suffering from meningitis which led to a blood infection and eventually sepsis. Earlier in June, Chase was hospitalized in Los Angeles due to malnutrition before her passing. The actress began her career as a child with her breakout role in 2002 when she voiced Lilo in the beloved Disney film. She continued voicing the same character in many other Disney projects throughout her career. Beyond Disney, she appeared in notable films including Spirited Away, Donnie Darko, and The Ring where she played Samara Morgan. Fans across the entertainment industry are mourning the loss of this gifted performer who brought many stories to life.
