Disney is planning a temporary closure of the Village Green courtyard at its BoardWalk Inn and Villas resort from August 10 through September 4, 2026. This area serves as a central gathering space between the lobby and waterfront promenade where guests typically enjoy relaxation and recreation activities. The multi-year transformation project continues through late 2026, affecting various parts of the property. During this nearly month-long shutdown, popular events like Movie Under the Stars and outdoor yoga will be moved to alternative locations throughout the resort. While dining options, shops, and main pathways remain accessible, nearby guests may experience construction noise during daytime hours. Disney has also announced a second maintenance phase in early 2027 that will temporarily close Luna Park Pool and related areas from January through April. Leisure pools at both BoardWalk properties will stay open throughout this future closure period.
