Disney Changes Single Rider Line at Expedition Everest

The Single Rider line at Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom remains operational but has undergone significant changes. Previously, there was one Standby queue and a dedicated Single Rider queue used to fill in empty seats. Now, Standby parties are divided into even and odd numbered groups with separate paths, plus a third line for Single Riders. The new queue system creates more efficient loading, which means Single Riders are called upon less frequently than before. Disney has also discontinued the practice of allowing Single Riders to request riding together, closing a loophole often exploited by pairs. Additionally, the Single Rider line may be temporarily closed when wait times drop below a certain threshold, as observed when the posted wait hit 15 minutes.
