Disney Characters Drafted to Iconic NFL Teams at Fanatics Fest

At the recent Fanatics Fest NYC event, a unique crossover merged NFL teams with beloved Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel characters through an inaugural Disney Fan Draft. The creative team meticulously matched the first eight franchises based on shared traits like legacy, city identity, and fan culture rather than randomly selecting pairings. Las Vegas Raiders received Darth Vader, New England Patriots got Captain America, and New York Jets earned Buzz Lightyear among other surprising combinations. Each design adheres to a Sports First principle ensuring authenticity while embedding deep-cut references only true fans would appreciate. This limited initial drop of eight sets represents the beginning of a larger collection that will eventually cover all thirty-two NFL teams by August 2026. The collaboration serves as part of Disney and ESPN’s special Year of the Super Bowl initiative leading into their historic Super Bowl production in early 2027. Fans can purchase merchandise directly from various online retailers and select physical locations once the full lineup becomes available next year.
