Disney Cruise Line Accelerates New Ship Launch Schedule for 2029 and Beyond

Disney Cruise Line is accelerating its fleet expansion by moving two new ship launches earlier than originally planned. The Disney Believe vessel will debut in late 2027 as the fourth Wish-class ship, with more details expected in October 2026. Three additional ships are now scheduled to sail during a busy 2029, including one operated by Oriental Land Company from Japan. Disney is also developing three smaller ships between Magic-class and Dream-class sizes, with the second moved forward from 2030 to late 2029. The final ship in the expansion has shifted from 2031 to 2030, bringing all thirteen ships into service by the end of that year. Names and itineraries for these smaller vessels remain unannounced as Disney continues its aggressive growth strategy.
