Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing for a major attraction retheme with the upcoming launch of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Cast members recently previewed the updated ride experience and discovered numerous new details throughout the queue, pre-show, and loading areas. The attraction will officially open to the public on May 26th following several days of annual passholder previews in late May. Visitors can expect extensive Easter eggs referencing classic Muppet films, Muppet*Vision 3D, and the previous Aerosmith-themed version of the ride. Notable additions include updated limousines with Electric Mayhem color schemes and humorous nods like an “obligatory corkscrew” sign replacing the original wording. The pre-show features familiar dialogue while introducing new details such as a PizzaRizzo pizza box in the recording studio. While the track remains unchanged, the experience now includes Muppets-specific humor and visual elements throughout the journey. Fans will appreciate seeing Statler and Waldorf remain bolted to their seats during unloading alongside other nostalgic touches.
