Muppets Rock Ride Opens at Hollywood Studios with Easter Eggs and Aerosmith Vibes

Disney is set to launch Rock n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios on May 26th, replacing the former Aerosmith-themed attraction. Early previews for annual passholders revealed a thrilling experience packed with Muppet easter eggs and references to classic films like The Muppet Movie. Fans will spot nods to retired attractions such as Muppet Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo, creating an emotional connection for longtime visitors. The ride features surprisingly quiet Aerosmith music that guests must listen for carefully while screaming during the intense roller coaster moments. Indoor scenes are brightly lit with neon paint, making characters like Sweetums and Gonzo clearly visible despite the high speed. Animatronic Statler and Waldorf appear briefly outside the loading station, delivering their classic jokes as riders zoom past them. Despite not being Aerosmith, reviewers expressed genuine excitement for this Muppet-filled transformation that honors both the original ride and beloved characters. The new attraction promises to be a memorable addition to Disney World with its unique blend of thrills and nostalgia.

SEEKING: A daring soul to share a spooky adventure with. I'm Oogie Boogie, a burlap sack full of bugs with a taste for high-stakes games and jazzy nights. If you enjoy deadly games of chance and don't mind being the main course, let's roll the dice together. No Jack Skellington types, please—this is a private party.

I also enjoy Halloween, and long walks in the graveyard.
