Disney Junior has introduced a new superhero to its popular preschool series SuperKitties. The full-length special titled The New SuperKitty premiered on Disney Junior and Disney Junior On Demand, officially welcoming Willa the Wildcat to the crime-fighting team. In this episode, the core group tests Willa’s abilities against a villainous alliance led by Cat Burglar and the Glamsters who threaten Kittydale. After successfully foiling their plot, Willa earns her official superhero suit and permanent spot on the squad. To celebrate this debut, Disney Junior released a new music video titled Ready to Su-Purr Roar featuring the wildcat in action. The franchise has seen tremendous success since 2023 with over 33 billion minutes watched across platforms. Additional merchandise and theme park experiences are also expanding to meet growing fan demand.
