The streaming service Disney+ has expanded its language offerings to reach a broader global audience. By adding 17 additional languages, the platform now supports audio in 58 different tongues across 130 countries. Users can enjoy content with subtitles and closed captions in up to 42 languages through an interface available in over 30 languages. This update includes support for Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Tamil, Telugu, and Croatian among others. A new right-to-left interface specifically benefits viewers reading Arabic and Hebrew scripts naturally. Popular existing languages remain English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Mandarin while newer additions like Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish, and Turkish join the lineup. Viewers can easily adjust audio, subtitle, and caption settings by accessing the Audio and Subtitles menu during playback. Changing the application language requires navigating to profile settings where users select their preferred option.
