Walt Disney Imagineering recently shared a sneak peek of upcoming updates for Disney Lakeshore Lodge through their Pardon Our Pixie Dust video series. The teaser shows a large themed wooden structure positioned beside one of the resort’s water slides, capturing fans sneaking behind construction walls. The playful clip features an Imagineer making otter puns while joking about getting caught behind the barriers. Full details are scheduled to premiere on YouTube on August 25, offering viewers more insights into the resort’s development. Recent aerial photos have already revealed additional structures taking shape within The Wetlands recreation area. Once complete, guests will enjoy attractions like Daydream River, Heron Shores, and Otter Springs. The resort, originally announced in 2018, was revived in 2024 after a pandemic-related pause. Disney plans to open the nature-inspired destination in summer 2027.
