Disney Tightens Early Entry Line Rules Across Parks

Recent observations at Disney theme parks reveal a noticeable shift in how queue procedures are managed during Early Entry periods. Visitors frequently attempt to join lines individually when family members secure prime spots, leading to common complaints about people cutting ahead of others. While this behavior has persisted for years, park officials have recently begun enforcing line rules with greater consistency and firmness. At Hollywood Studios, Cast Members now require entire parties to enter queues together rather than allowing individuals to rush ahead alone. Similar enforcement measures were observed at Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom during recent testing sessions. These changes appear designed to address the growing issue of guests attempting to bypass proper queue protocols by entering lines separately. The new approach involves directing stragglers to wait at entrance points until their party members arrive, rather than letting them join mid-queue or sending them to the back. This represents a significant departure from previous practices where Cast Members were more lenient about individual entries into group queues.
