Shanghai Disney Resort has officially announced the name of its third themed hotel, the Disney Enchanted Star Hotel. Construction on this deluxe property with 400 rooms began in August 2023 and is expected to open during Winter 2027. The new hotel will feature Art Nouveau architecture inspired by Shanghai’s early 20th century design while maintaining Disney storytelling elements. Located on Wishing Star Lake, the property will offer spectacular views of Shanghai Disneyland and provide additional accommodation options for resort guests. This announcement comes as the resort celebrates its tenth anniversary with multiple expansion projects underway, including a fourth themed hotel near the park entrance and a new Spider-Man themed land. The Spider-Man attraction has completed track installation and is scheduled to become the ninth themed land at the park. Additionally, Soaring Over the Horizon will undergo significant expansion to increase daily capacity by approximately 50 percent. Disney continues to invest heavily in international parks while also planning major expansions for domestic resorts through the 2030s.
