The Walt Disney Company has announced a comprehensive campaign called Disney Celebrates America to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary. This massive undertaking includes special television programming, theme park activations, and community initiatives spanning multiple platforms and locations. A two-hour primetime special will air on ABC featuring stories about American firsts from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts. Additionally, a full day of cross-platform broadcasting will run from July 3 through July 4 across numerous Disney-owned networks including ESPN, National Geographic, and Hulu. The celebration features patriotic decorations throughout Disney parks, special performances honoring military veterans, and exclusive merchandise collections. Disney has also committed $2.5 million to support military families through its partnership with Blue Star Families over the coming year.
