Disney Unveils Mary Blair-Inspired Indoor Play Space at Hollywood Studios

A new indoor play area called Drawn to Wonderland has officially opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, featuring the distinctive artistic style of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair. Located within The Magic of Disney Animation building, this interactive playground transforms a former studio office into a whimsical environment inspired by her conceptual work for Alice in Wonderland. The space is specifically designed for children between 6 months and 5 years old, with separate sections tailored to different age groups and developmental stages. Younger children can explore gentle interactive elements featuring dandelions, singing flowers, and flying butterflies, while older toddlers engage with themed adventures like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. The experience includes tactile play stations, climbing structures, sensory marbles, and dynamic lighting effects that shift between soft pink swirls and stormy clouds. Parents are provided with padded benches equipped with charging outlets to keep their devices powered while supervising their children in this air-conditioned environment.
