Disney World is implementing extensive construction projects across its resorts, with the BoardWalk Inn undergoing significant refurbishment through late 2026. While most amenities remain accessible to guests, work will be visible in certain areas during daytime hours. The Village Green courtyard will close temporarily from August 10th to September 4th for renovations, relocating popular activities like Movie Under the Stars and yoga classes to alternative locations. Beginning in early 2027, the Luna Park Pool area will undergo months of maintenance from January through April, though other resort pools will stay operational. Beyond these refurbishments, new additions are planned including a quick-service restaurant, a dual-purpose lounge called Hurly-Burly that transitions from family-friendly daytime activities to an evening adults-only venue with music and cocktails. A new sensory retail store named Basin on the BoardWalk will feature handcrafted products like natural soaps and bath items alongside personalized customization stations for guests. These new offerings are scheduled to open in late 2026 while construction continues through mid-2027, transforming the resort experience for future visitors.
