Several Disney World attractions experienced significant operational issues during a busy summer weekend, causing frustration for visitors. Test Track faced repeated closures and reached wait times of 115 minutes when operating, while Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind saw waits climb to 90 minutes. Multiple rides including Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and various others experienced temporary or complete shutdowns throughout the day. The park also dealt with severe weather that forced half of its attractions to close for an hour at one point. Despite these challenges, some newer rides like TRON Lightcycle Run maintained relatively shorter wait times compared to historical peaks. Visitors were advised against waiting until late in the day due to unpredictable ride closures that could ruin their experience. The operational difficulties highlight ongoing maintenance challenges for high-tech attractions even a year after reopening.
