A new limited-time snack has been discovered at Disney Springs and tested for a review. The treat is a blueberry thyme tart sold at The Basket, a grab-and-go counter located inside the popular Wine Bar George. Priced at ten dollars, this seasonal pastry features buttery puff pastry filled with sweet and tart blueberries and subtle thyme flavoring. The outside of the tart was flaky and well-baked while the interior remained gooey with fresh whole blueberry pieces. A touch of saltiness in the pastry balanced nicely against the slightly bitter fruit filling, while icing on top helped offset any bitterness without being overly sweet. The large pastry is messy to eat so diners should prepare plenty of napkins before enjoying this delicious treat. This seasonal offering is highly recommended while it remains available at Disney Springs.
