The Disneyland Resort has introduced a whimsical new event called the Bubbles Experience at its Downtown Disney District. This family-friendly celebration, presented by Disney Jr., features giant bubble machines and live music to create an enchanting atmosphere for children and adults alike. The event is inspired by the animated series Sofia the First: Royal Magic, which adds a royal theme to the festivities. A special photo opportunity featuring Princess Sofia has been set up near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and Lawn area. Popular DJ Dave Mancini will lead dance parties during opening weekend, with more performances scheduled throughout the summer. The Bubbles Experience runs daily through August 16, 2026, offering bubble-filled fun both during daytime and nighttime hours. Visitors do not need theme park tickets or reservations to enjoy this free event at the open-admission shopping district. This celebration is part of a larger Kids Rule Summer lineup happening across the Disneyland Resort this season.
