Disneyland Resort Celebrates 70th Anniversary with MagicBand+ Quests and Special Events

The Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a year-long festival running through summer 2026, featuring special rides, parades, shows, and interactive MagicBand+ experiences. Guests can use their MagicBand+ to explore the park on a quest for interactive elements that provide souvenirs and surprises throughout various locations. At Main Street Cinema’s Tilly’s Booth, tapping the band yields a commemorative ticket celebrating 70 magical years at Disneyland with messages honoring key holders and tributes to the Sherman Brothers. Frontierland’s Silber Spur Supplies offers three touchpoints that print tickets for Mark Twain’s Riverboat, the Disneyland Railroad, and the Golden Horseshoe Revue while playing fun audio clips. Jungle Cruise’s Skipper Lockers provide riverboat cruise tickets specifying boat assignments and crew memberships with meaningful names to discover from Cast Members. Fantasyland Window features five touchpoints revealing diorama scenes of classic characters and attractions without issuing physical tickets but offering visual displays. An Autopia interaction remains uninstalled as of the report, with plans for future installation near Autopia locations still under development. Nighttime experiences will also include special MagicBand+ interactions during the celebration period.
