A recent visit to Magic Kingdom on a low crowd day demonstrated the effectiveness of the double rope drop strategy. The park offers two rope drops: Early Entry for Disney Resort guests in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, followed by a second drop for the rest of the park. The tester was able to board four attractions by 9:30 am without purchasing Lightning Lanes. The crowd level for the day was a low 2, making it ideal for touring without paid line-skipping options. The strategy began with boarding the first ferryboat at 7:18 am and scanning into Early Entry around 8:04 am. The first ride, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, was boarded with a wait of under one minute. After optimizing their Touring Plan, the tester proceeded to Peter Pan, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean with minimal waits. The experience suggests that on low crowd days, guests can rely on rope dropping strategies instead of purchasing Lightning Lane passes.
