The Dutch theme park Efteling has officially announced two new attractions set to open in 2026, continuing its tradition of innovation and magical experiences. The first attraction, Ravenring, is a horizontally rotating wheel ride featuring 18 winged vehicles where riders can control the steepness of their flight path. This thrilling experience requires visitors to be at least four years old and taller than one meter. The second new addition is Hooghmoed, a child-friendly drop tower consisting of three towers approximately 40 feet tall each. This attraction complements the existing Baron 1898 dive coaster in the park’s gold mine-themed area. Both attractions will be part of the newly revamped Raveleijn area, which undergoes a complete transformation with new storyline elements and show effects. The park’s director emphasized that these improvements include more environmentally friendly fire effects and increased performance frequency throughout the year. Visitors over four years old and taller than one meter can enjoy the Ravenring ride, while Hooghmoed is designed specifically for younger guests. These additions promise to enhance Efteling’s reputation as Europe’s third most visited theme park with even more whimsical and magical experiences.
