Encanto Voice Actor Teases New Recording Project Linked to Disney Parks Expansion

Construction continues on Pueblo Esperanza, a new Tropical Americas-themed land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom expected to open in 2027. The upcoming area will include an Encanto ride alongside a carousel and Indiana Jones attraction. Adassa, the voice of Dolores from Encanto, recently shared that she returned to the recording studio for a new project with Walt Disney Imagineering. While she did not confirm the purpose of this recording session, her collaboration with Imagineering suggests a connection to the new park land. Disney typically brings original cast members back to record audio for their attractions, making this development particularly intriguing for fans. The Encanto ride will be one of three major attractions in the new land replacing DinoLand U.S.A. This potential project indicates ongoing creative work behind the scenes for the upcoming expansion.
