Universal announced that Evil Dead Burn, inspired by the newest film in the legendary franchise, will become the ninth haunted house attraction for Halloween Horror Nights 35. The experience opens on August 28th at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3rd at Universal Studios Hollywood, transporting guests into the Price family’s isolated vacation home where an ancient evil has taken hold. Visitors will encounter terrifying Deadites and experience horrifying moments from the film before facing supernatural forces themselves as they navigate through the dark woods setting. Since its debut in 1981, the Evil Dead franchise has combined over-the-top gore, dark comedy, and supernatural terror to create some of horror’s most beloved stories. While fans initially speculated about an Ozzy Osbourne-themed house, this surprise revelation keeps speculation alive about the final haunted house completing the ten-house lineup. Limited-release merchandise including themed apparel and collectible figures becomes available starting July 21st at both locations, with additional items expected later this year. Universal also launched sales for various passes including Rush of Fear and enhanced early access options, allowing guests to plan their scare-filled experiences accordingly. Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights through November 1st at both resorts, with only one haunted house remaining unannounced. Fans looking to maximize their experience can take advantage of various ticket packages ranging from General Admission to Ultimate Fear Passes depending on desired intensity levels.
