Fast Furious Hollywood Drift Coaster Nears Completion at Universal Florida

Construction crews are nearing the final stage of building the Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster at Universal Studios Florida. Only one remaining section of track needs installation before the ride will be complete. The new attraction replaces the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit location and features a unique layout designed specifically for Orlando. Ride vehicles will rotate during the experience to simulate drifting through turns, similar to the version at Universal Studios Hollywood. The coaster is expected to open in 2027 after track work, testing, landscaping, and station construction are finished. This high-speed attraction will transform the park’s entrance skyline with its silver track and dark blue supports. Visitors can look forward to a new thrilling experience when the ride officially begins operations next year.
