Fire at Six Flags Magic Mountain Quickly Extinguished Without Injuries or Evacuations

A fire broke out below the X2 roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California on Thursday, June 11th. Fire crews responded to the scene around 12:21 PM and captured footage showed a palm tree engulfed in flames that spread to nearby trees and brush. Despite the smoke covering the area, firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze before it could impact any attractions or structures. Fortunately, no guests, workers, or firefighters were injured during the incident. The park did not need to evacuate any sections of the facility while fire crews monitored for additional hotspots. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time and further investigation is ongoing.
