Gaylord Hotels is expanding its signature Ice Christmas attraction to eight resorts across the United States, introducing new themes including Harry Potter, Home Alone, and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The expansion includes locations in California, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Maryland, Florida, and will feature beloved holiday stories like A Charlie Brown Christmas and Elf at various destinations. Each resort will transform into a winter wonderland with millions of lights, ice slides, themed dining experiences, and interactive activities for families during the holiday season. The Ice attraction features over two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures created by artisans from Harbin, China, who spend approximately 40 days crafting the intricate displays. Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee will feature The Polar Express theme from November through January 2027, marking its return after a four-year absence since 2019.
