Downtown Disney is undergoing a significant transformation with new dining options arriving in the district. A new food cart from Happy Ice will soon join the shopping and dining area, offering handcrafted frozen desserts made with natural ingredients. The menu features Philadelphia water ice created with real fruit, pure cane sugar, and premium components without high-fructose corn syrup or artificial dyes. Visitors can also order the JOY-LATI layered dessert combining Italian ice, vanilla sweet cream, sauces, fresh fruit, and flavors like banana pudding and strawberry shortcake. Specialty offerings include Berry Bonanza and Cloud 9 flavors along with fruit-based sauces and monthly rotating exclusives. This marks a permanent return of Happy Ice to Downtown Disney after a brief food truck visit in 2023 during the Celebrate Soulfully Celebration event. The cart is expected to open sometime this month for year-round service.
