Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas at Kidani Village will undergo a multi-month lobby refurbishment from August 17 through early November. The project will be completed in phases, with the main lobby closing first on August 17 and front desk services relocating to the Palace Library. The gift shop, Johari Treasures, will close from August 17 through August 28 before reopening. During the second phase, the north lobby corridor will see the second-floor elevators and outdoor terrace observation deck closed. The final phase shifts to the south lobby corridor, impacting the Community Hall, arcade, laundry room, lobby restrooms, Palace Library, and terrace deck. Disney noted that daytime noise and construction equipment will be present near the lobby area during the renovation. Despite these changes, guests will still have full access to the popular savanna views and dining options like Sanaa throughout the project.
