NBA teams will be contained to three specific hotels at Walt Disney World night COVID-19 testing

NBA

On June 4, the NBA’s Board of Governors approved to restart the 2019-20 NBA season with 22 teams returning to play and a tentative start date of July 31st at Walt Disney World.

The 2019-20 restart is contingent on an agreement with The Walt Disney Company to use Walt Disney World as a single site for a campus for all games, practices, and housing for the remainder of the season.

According to ESPN, “NBA teams will be contained to three specific hotels within the Disney complex.” Players will be tested for COVID-19 nightly per a post by Scott Gustin on Twitter.

The hotels to house the NBA Players have not been announced yet. Also note that we have not heard any word from Disney on the NBA coming to Walt Disney World, all the information we are getting right now is from the NBA.

July 31 is the tentative start date for the NBA with the Finals ending no later than Oct. 12th.

According to the NBA website a total of 22 teams would return to play this season.
