Nearly 80 Cast Members Work Overnight to Bring Halloween Magic to Walt Disney World

Disney has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the Holiday Services team, including nearly 80 Cast Members who have spent recent weeks working overnight to install fall decorations across the resort. The decorations include familiar Mickey pumpkin wreaths and autumn bunting along Main Street, U.S.A., as well as dozens of pumpkins perched high above guests throughout Magic Kingdom. These decorations are designed to be lightweight and durable, allowing crews to safely install a massive amount of décor during the short overnight window before guests return the following morning. Some of the most detailed Halloween storytelling can be found over at Disney Springs, where Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is sporting its Halloween overlay for a second year. Even while preparing for Halloween, the Holiday Services team is already looking ahead to Christmas, with wreaths, garland, ornaments, and towering trees being prepared for the next overnight transformation across Walt Disney World.
