Disney has installed new speed humps near the EPCOT parking plaza to slow down vehicles approaching toll booths and parking areas. The black-and-yellow humps are positioned beyond existing rumble strips, initially covering only left-side lanes with additional sets planned for future expansion. Some drivers have been seen changing lanes to avoid the bumps, which may prompt Disney to extend the installation across more lanes. These traffic-calming measures aim to improve safety in a busy area where thousands of vehicles pass through daily between guests arriving for rope drop and families returning after park visits. The next time visitors drive toward Spaceship Earth, they might encounter extra bumps before their magical day begins at the park.
